My name on the forum is Rockne and I am new to the Android communtiy.
I will be purchasing my first "smart phone" /Android hopefully this Friday the 6th.
I say hopefully because I anticipate quite a few people getting the Droid.
My local store, which happens to be in a rather off the beaten path area opens at 8am. I am going to stop by around 7:00 and look for a line. After a conversation with the store manager they have 60 phones in stock, I think my odds are pretty good. I live about 20 minutes from Columbus Ohio and I don't see many people making the drive for a release, but you never know.
Anyway, here I am!!!
