Hello all

Hache

Lurker
Hi,

My name's Hache (pronounced Ash). I'm old - very old! This Christmas I got a lovely new MID X5A Android tablet for Christmas but, so far, have been unable to do anything with it. I don't have any WIFI so not much use there - and today I tried to connect it to my PC (which the appalling excuse for a manual said I could do) but the system doesn't recognise it. It went away and searched for some software but couldn't find any and the tablet didn't come with any software. Anyone got any clue as to where I'm going wrong?

Thanks

Welcome to the Android Forums!

With a Chinese knockoff tablet it's going to be difficult to try to USB tether to your PC. If you have high speed Internet then you might want to consider adding wireless to the mix. The tablet can more easily connect through the wireless.

One of the challenges we run into with these knockoff tablets is that tech support is nearly non-existant.
