Just a quick hello to be neighborly.
I am the quintessential NOOB, so until I can learn more, I guess I will be the lurker in the shadows until I feel confident enough to post my own intel.

At the moment, I am trying to figure out how to root a LG Splendor from US Cellular. I haven't had this much trouble EVER. I know enough to root a fair amount of devices and I have some aptitude for technology, but not that much.

I look forward to cruising the threads and eventually posting my own information for future NOOBs. Thanks for a great site!

Hey there and welcome to Android forums!

There's 2 different root methods just off of the top of my head.

Kingo and framaroot. I'm not sure if either would work for yours though. It all depends if you have a locked bootloader or not though.
