Hello to you all:

1. I run win7 on my laptop. I would like to find out how to sync my droid with it. I use word & excel files. Where could i find an app. and what do you consider a fair price......more important is which is the best purchase?

2. I have been looking at pc android tablets. Which are the best and which are the ones to avoid? Can one use this tablet like my droid?

3. Finally, is there someplace to call to talk to experts on this technology? The questions would be very simple. :D I dont have access to a young person who would understand my questions.:)

Thank you

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Which Droid do you have?

1. There are several third party sync apps out there that do a number of different things. The challenge will be to find one that will allow you to sync data outside of MS Outlook. A thought I had was maybe Google docs... but I'm not sure what exactly would have to happy in order to make this sync fluidly.

2. Avoid, if possible the Chinese knockoff tablets. Most are really cheap but have resistive screens (require a stylus rather than a finger), few have good tech support, and even fewer have a warranty outside of shipping the tablet to China. Sometime this Spring I suspect we'll see a large influx of domestic Android tablets. I'd wait a while before acquiring one...
