Hi guys and gals!
I just wanted to introduce myself and send out a wave.

I am a new Android user 3 days old now :p

I moved from my iPhone 4 to the Samsung Captivate which I rooted and now run Serendipity on (thanks to a helpful AT&T employee I meet in one of the corporate stores, he suggested that ROM).

Hoping I can learn a lot more here in the forums about all of this, it's gonna be a fun time!
 
So any suggestions on great apps?

One thing I must say is I love the keyboard on this thing over my iPhone 4 and I like the voice to text in the SMS app! GREAT WHILE I AM DRIVING! :cool:

Also, any apps to help the speakerphone out, it seems a little underpowered.
 
Well I have found out that the Captivate has a very very sensitive screen 3 times already I touched something to cause the white screen to come up with options like Reboot. Not sure what I am hitting, LOL.

Normally that means that you're probably hitting/holding the power button...

Yeah, I'm sure it's something I am doing.

I need to figure a new way of holding and handling this device compared to my iPhone4. I am finding I am trying to do things like I did with it on this device and it doesn't flow.

Still getting use to power button on the side not on top.
