I'm new around here. I'm currently using a RIM phone but I just ordered a used Samsung Captivate. It'll be for work and personal use.
From what I've read so far it's not going to be easy to sync Outlook to my phone so that will be the first thing I have to figure out. Since the Outlook data is from work, I don't want to sync that to Google and then to the phone. I want to sync it directly from the PC to the phone.
The second thing will be to sync various MS Office files and be able to open and read them on the phone. I won't need to edit them on the phone but that would be a nice plus. I currently use DocsToGo and I see they have a version for Android so that should work out ok.
I don't have the phone yet but I'm looking forward to getting to know Android.
