Hey, i just bought a samsung galaxy mini, and im enjoying it. So i heard about this rooting, cyan mod something. How safe is this? what is the margin of error? i do quite have a background in this, i mean i work around computer too. hehe.

To all Samsung Galaxy Mini users too, hope u could give me some of your recommended mods or such. Cheers!

Technically, yes, but if you have a warranty issue, you can simply return it to stock before submitting a claim.

The latest general release for Gingerbread is 2.3.4. The point releases following 2.3.4 are specific to phone's hardware and are either bug fixes or feature enhancements.
