HII! I HAVE A SAMSUNG EPIC 4G AND THE TEMP OF MY PHONE INCREASINGLY KEEPS GOING HIGHERTHEN SHUTS DOWN AND THEN TEMP WARNING SAYS PHONE TEMP IS TO HIGH OR TO LOW AND WONT STAY ON. WHY? OH AND FROM FIRST DAY I BOUGHT IT THE BATTERY LIFE HAS SUCKED!

Sounds like your phone is having some serious issues. Is it possible that you have a poorly functioning app on the phone that is running constantly? If so this might explain why the phone is getting hot and battery life is poor.
