Hello Everyone

I am so new I'm almost freaking out. I purchased the Sumas 7inch SMT-708Pad as an alternative to another laptop as mine is old/burning out and my budget is super tight. Now I see the ap on amazon to allow me to download aps onto my Tablet is 5 MB and tablet only comes with 2MB storage [Ouch!] I am just wondering if I can load the 5 MB program onto my laptop, then after download smaller aps for my tablet just transfer those programs to my tablet, and if so, how do I do so?

So far have the USB symbol in top left corner of tablet showing, so believe was able to download the USB driver, otherwise, can't even get the two different home page views to appear by either draging left or right on the touch screen, to set the clock/date correctly, so My first basic needs are as noted above, please anyone, HELP! Gotta start using the tablet ASAP, preferably "Yesterday"! :o Thanks,

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

According to the description here the pad has 512MB of internal memory and 2BG of storage. That will be plenty to install the amazon app.

If you pull down the notification bar and tap on the usb icon, you can connect your tablet as a storage device and copy files to and from the PC. It is usually not possible to download apps directly to your PC and then move them to the tablet.

You should visit General Tablet Talk - Android Forums for tips on how to get the most form your device.
