I don't want to be a lurker, so I'll take a minute to tell you about me.

I live in Tulsa, OK and used to have an iPhone until about a year ago. I got sick and tired of backspacing almost every other word and would eventually always slow the phone down with common data that even scrolling my contacts took forever.

I researched and compared a lot of phones before deciding on a Samsung Fascinate. I absolutely love the way it syncs so easily with my gmail contacts and calendars. I did decide to get a 2nd battery that is always charged in my truck because 5 hours of battery is just not enough for one day.

Anyway, I'm still looking for an answer to why most text attachments won't download. Hopefully I'll find a solution soon.

Welcome to the forum. Nice to have you here. Lots of tips, hints, and tricks on AF. As for your question - "Why most text attachments won't download?" Do you mean download to your phone or what? A little more info would be great.
