I am new here and I am new to how android works as well.

The natural question I have is: how do you download games ?

For example, in this thread:
http://androidforums.com/android-games/6697-sokodroid-remake-classic-puzzle-game.html#post382578

There's a mention of Sokodroid -- a Sokoban game.
But how do you download that? Any detailed instructions ?

Thanks!

So, there's no way that I can download it to my computer first and try it out?

I have the android SDK installed, I want to try it out on the computer first.
