I have used this forum to help with my (many) Samsung Impressions, then learned how to root my Samsung Gravity Smart 3G. Finally decided to sign up and join in the conversation.
I bought the Galaxy S Relay 4G the day it came out and I'm in love with the bigger screen, the upgraded speed of the phone and network, and the 5 row qwerty keyboard.
I recently ran into an issue with changing my default notification tones(trivial i know). I tried several things and finally had to download a program that did it for me, but I still do not have the level of control I'm used to. I figure if it happened within 2 weeks, it will happen again and it may not be so trivial.
I was hoping to be able to find someone who was able to root the phone as it sits, and post directions. I'm uncomfortable with downloading someone else's rooted ROM, even if it is, otherwise, stock. I'd just prefer to do it myself.
I'd love any feedback
