Hello from a new Nexus user

Hi. I've had a Nexus 7 tablet for a couple of months and have now followed that up with a Nexus 4 phone which just arrived yesterday. I'm fairly tech savvy, having used Linux as my main OS for a long time, but I'm still new to Android and just beginning to look deeper than "how do I use this?" I'm already in love with the new phone and have high hopes that, with the glass back, the camera lens won't scratch in my pocket, which has been the case with every previous phone.

Congrats on the new phone - I have the N4 and it's awesome.

Re avoiding scratches: there are lots of covers you can buy (see the Nexus 4 part of the forum for suggestions), but leaving on the original plastic or getting some plastic covers (a buck or two for 10 from ebay) would probably work.

Alternatively, just avoid putting anything else in the pocket where you keep the phone
