Hi there everyone!
My name is Marcos, I'm a long time programmer but an absolute newbie on Android and programming for mobile devices in general. I'm interested in developing for the Android in Java and Adobe's AIR...
I know some Java and ActionScript on the desktop. So far I haven't tried anything for Android and would like to give it a try - initially with Java, as my device won't run AIR for a while...
Right now my device is a Motorola Quench (Click XT in the USA, I believe) and I'm really upset Motorola won't upgrade Quench in Brazil. Quench runs on Android 1.5... I want 2.2. As Motorola is updating Quench in the USA with Android 2.1 (or 2.2), this means there are no hardware limitations for this... So their decision here is based merely on their own opinion.
Thank you!
