Hello all! I just got the S3 yesterday and am thinking of rooting it. I've never done this before and am a bit nervous since I'm not really technically savvy. I've been poking around here and am feeling a bit more confident.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Teddy77. Welcome to Android Forums. Congrats on the new S3. I've heard it's a great device. We do have a discussion area for your phone and a root discussion/information area as well. You will want to check them out, do some serious reading, and ask some questions before you root your phone. It's not for everyone but many love their phones rooted and wouldn't have it any other way.

I rooted my Evo a while ago and I wouldn't have it any other way...even when I get my SG 3 in a few days, so I'll be right behind you my friend
