Hello from Florida

prmath

Newbie
I am new to SmartPhones so cut me some slack............please. Just an ole retired SouthernBell tech and I swapped out the old cell phone for a DroidX.
I rooted my phone back in April or May and all was fine but recently I did a root check and it failed. I then noticed that I could no longer tether a WiFi signal. Any suggestions? Everything else seems ok. I can't even unroot the device

Thanks for any help:D

Welcome to Android Forums.

Did you recently do an OS update? Those can sometimes take away root, and if the tethering app required it, that might explain that as well. In any case the people who would know the most about it are in Motorola Droid X - Android Forums.

We got as much slack as you need, so keep the questions coming (in the appropriate forums, naturally).
