Hello from the newby

[Spektrum]

Hi all

Last week I switched from the iOS platform to Android, one word,,,,,FANTASTIC!

The Optimus V is faster and cheaper than my old IPhone 3G. Why did I not switch sooner? Oh yes, ATT crappy 2 year contract. I've been with ATT/Cingulair for over 15 years. Well all that is gone!

I realize my Optimus is not the latest greatest device. But it is reliable and does everything I need. Luckily son and wife switched to Android a year ago. So I understand just enough to get me in trouble.

Good man, glad you made the switch and happy to have you here.

It's not that bad spec wise, and as long as it suits your requirements, the phones spec is irrelevant. I'm sure you'll find enough info here to get more out of it anyway .

If you want to talk with fellow owners, the Optimus V forum is here: LG Optimus V - Android Forums

Thanks!

I was just there and already picked up several tidbits of info I needed.
