Hi everyone!
Android n00b here from the Philippines.
I got my Samsung Galaxy Ace free from my network provider when I upgraded my plan.
I must say I'm enjoying it so far. I don't think I can go back to Nokia, which was my preferred brand for the longest time.
It was actually my husband who convinced me to choose the Galaxy Ace from the phone options. It was one of his top choices when he was getting a new phone a couple of months back, but he chose HTC Wildfire because of the price difference. He's happy with it, but he realized that Galaxy Ace is much better when he was able to check a friend's Galaxy.
I'm still trying to familiarize with all the settings and features of the Galaxy Ace. I still can't send or receive an MMS, and my notification sounds seem not loud enough for me to hear. But so far, it's been a great experience and I can't wait to maximize my phone's full potential.
Thanks everyone!
