Help Hello have a rom question

Hello, My current Phone is Digital2 D554P running 4.2.2 I was hoping to find a way to upgrade it to something within the 4.4 range. Ive contacted the phones maker but they said they aren't doing any updates..any ideas? Also is needrom.com Safe?

Needrom.com is only a database of what's available, with user submitted content. So it's probably up to you to do your own research and check if whatever you find is safe and suitable for your particular phone. XDA Devs is always a good place to look for information like this. FWIW I've never heard of Digital2, so I assume it's a Chinese device and not really mainstream, unlike say Samsung, HTC or Sony, which can make information about ROMs much more difficult to find. AF doesn't have any information for this phone AFAICT.

Would there be anyway to request a rom for this device? And you are right I believe it is a Chinese model. After searhing Needrom seems to have a 4.4 rom
