Hi, I'm CrackedLCD and I own an HTC Droid DNA, the flawed but cool phone from Verizon. I've been a browser for a while on these forums and finally decided to join so I can participate in the threads.
I live in LA (Lower Alabama) near the coast and am still glowing happy over my first taste of Verizon's LTE. I came from a regional carrier (C Spire) based in Mississippi and had a Galaxy S Showcase with them. They had great voice coverage and good customer service, but their 3G network was pitiful and I rarely saw .5 Mbps on downloads. So my first "smartphone" couldn't do anything whizbang like watch Netflix or stream music because the service was so unreliable and slow! At least it was unlimited, but it's easy to offer than when no one could possibly do a gig a month, lol.
Speaking of Samsung, I was close to getting the GSIII but switched because I wasn't happy with the build quality or reliability of the Showcase. I got tired of locking it up and having to pull the battery 3 times a week.
So far, other than the dreaded SIM error issue, the Droid DNA has been relatively trouble free. It's certainly a quirky, flawed phone, but I really do enjoy using it.
