hello hello

[Davew18]

my name is dave, from just a bit north of san francisco seamed like a good source of knowledge on cell phones on the forums so i`m anxious to be a part of it.

i am currently using a nokia nexus one that i bought on the release date, its still working as good as the day i got it and am very impressed with that but lately have been thinking about looking into some new "superphone" see if there is anything truly amazing coming out that i could hold off for or... would anyone be able to suggest anything?

Hi Dave, and welcome to AF

There are a few flagship devices expected to be announced in the near future. HTC's next flagship, probably called "HTC One", will be announced next week. Beyond that we're expecting announcements of a successor to the Galaxy S3 (normally referred to as "S4", but who knows) in the next month or two, and Motorola's "X phone" people expect will be announced in May, but nothing official on either.

Of course there's also the spiritual successor to your current phone, the Nexus 4, which can be bought from the Google Play Store on the web (stock levels permitting) or from a few carriers.

Good to have you join us
