Yep, lurked a little while, then logged-in to do some troubleshooting/searching - found the OS sub-forum and will ease into this thing gradually.

Think I've already found that what I was having difficulty with was some kinda' systems glitch - glad to know it's not that my phone really IS smarter-than-me... even if that's what I call it.
