Hi,

My name is Bob "Notes" Norton. The "Notes" came around in the early days when we used the Usenet Newsgroups instead of forums like this, and there were a few Bob Nortons in the group. My sister's old business partner called me "Notes" so I adopted that for on-line purposes.

I am a professional musician (sax, wind synthesizer, guitar, bass, keyboard synthesizer, vocals, flute, and drums) The Sophisticats and I write aftermarket styles for the auto-accompaniment program Band-in-a-Box Norton Music, Band-in-a-Box improvement products (tools and toys) and much more

I'm a newbie to android, had it about a month, and love it.

I've participated in a number of other forums (Band-in-a-Box, guitar, sax, etc.) and am looking forward to making some friends here.

BTW, as far as the tax man is concerned, those instruments are not a shopping list for toys, but deductible tools

The droid is my first smart phone, and I really love the convenience of being able to google, check my mail, and check my booking calendar away from home.

I waited until MetroPCS had a droid phone before making the switch from a land line, because the number is listed as a business, that means people call me daily to try to sell me things, and I wanted unlimited minutes so I don't pay for their ads.

Now that I have the "smart phone" I don't know how I managed without it
