Help Hello need help with SCH R 720

daughter change password on phone and now not able to hard reset phone goes to Metro PC screen then on I tryed the on button and down button and return button every time it goes to the metro screen and the to on is there something I am doing wrong for hard reset any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi welcome to our forums, we hope you will stay beyond your question the r720 I think that is the admire? well i think you should start by removing the battery and putting it back in then push the buttons {back and down vol key} first be sure you are holding them the push and hold the power button while still pushing the rest of them

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, Kingcobra.

If you can't persuade your daughter to provide you with the password, your best bet might be to explain the situation to your point of purchase (carrier/provider store?).

I dont think you arent holding the buttons long enough. Keep pressing the power button, volume down button and the back button until the stock recovery appears. Youll be able to factory reset then
