Hello & Need Info Please

Lela

Lurker
I have a LG Ally and recently stored all allowable apps to the SD Card to save phone space. I have 2 questions:

Can I run the apps on the SD Card?

How can I find the apps, they are no longer visible?

Thank you for any info you can provide.

Welcome to the forums :)

Yes, the apps should still run fine from the SD Card. Do you mean the apps aren't in the app drawer? Folks in the LG Ally subforum may be of more assistance: LG Ally - Android Forums
Hello, thanks for your response. Not sure what you mean by the "App Drawer." I have looked everywhere on the phone for apps and the ones I downloaded and used regularly that are supposedly on the SD Card are not visible.

App drawer is just like the start menu in windows, it's the page that lists all your apps. It'll be the page you get up when you press the button between the End Call key and the Home key. They're def not somewhere on that page?

Welcome to Android Forums!

If you are unsure if the apps are installed properly you can tap menu>settings>applications>manage applications and then choose the ALL tab and scroll the list to see if they are there. If they are there, then their correspoding launcher icon should be in the app drawer ... it's the icon in the dock bar that looks like a this
