Hello - New to forums and Android

Hello,

My name is Jim and I just got my new phone a couple of months ago.

It's my first time with a phone that does anything besides making calls and texting, so it's been interesting trying to figure it all out and frustrating in the same breath at times.

I am a computer programmer programming currently on an IBM mainframe but in the process of transisitioning to .NET, ORACLE, and JAVA.

I have been programming professionally for 16 years and I actually started computer programming in the 80's when the PC came out.

I am looking forward to learning from this community and having some fun as well.
