Hello everyone. I was hoping to get an answer to a question I have about backing up app data for transfer to a new phone. I currently have a Galaxy S2 but am about to upgrade to an HTC One. I understand how to sync my apps to Google and bring them over to the new device. My question is, will the data also be transferred or do I need some other app to do that? In other words, will my game progress, for example, be transferred, or just the game? If I do need an app to transfer the data, what do you recommend? Thanks so much!

If you've allowed the apps to be synced, the data should be as well.
However, there may be android version restrictions on this, as it was just introduced fairly recently (this summer)
You would need to be rooted for any other app to be able to backup another apps data.
