What's your device? I've found that of all the android forums, this forum is way nicer to newcomers and beginners. If you have any questions, I would recommend the search function first, but if you can't find an answer, everyone here is more than willing to help and super nice.

That is great to hear! I currently have the Samsung Galaxy Victory (Android 4.1.2); this is my fourth device and have been using Android for about four years. Not a newbie, but there is always something learn. Really enjoy testings apps, tinkering, and have a few very basic apps in the market. (I am very new to the development side!)
