Hello... please help.

[djkiwiuk]

Hi there, just signed up to the forum... I have been given a LG V900 (UK) which doesn't boot past the android logo...

I've spent the last few hours understanding fastboot etc, however I cannot seem to find a working .img file so that I can restore....

I have tried one which I found after many searches on google, however all I get displayed on the device after I run...

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
sending 'recovery' (4706 KB)...

Is the following....

"failed to process command getvar: partition-type:recovery error(0x2)"

I would appreciate any help, before I give up hope on this thing and buy an iPad.

Hope somebody can help me

Many thanks
Kieran
