Hi there,to I am a very new newbie,coming from a dumb cell phone to a Droid X2.What culture shock!Well , I need some advice.I need to know the best five or ten apps you recommend that I cannot live without. Things that will help me the most with this new technology.Also, do you guys run anti-virus programs? From what I hear these smartphones can get bugs.If so what do you reccomend? One more question,I am looking for an astronomy program that will show me night sky for my location.Thank-you for your time and help.I'm sure I will be a regular here!Harry...

Hello harry. Apps are a hard call. There are so many and interest and needs vary so from user to user. I do not use an anti-virus software on my Droid Incredible though some do. Your best bet would be to follow this link to a section that is just for your
phone. Motorola Droid X2 - Android Forums There you can read up as well as ask questions about favorite apps and protection. I hope you enjoy the forums.

I do not run an AV program, but I also don't go to questionable sites, download warez or install apps from unreliable sources.
