I tried. Exhaustingly.
I exhaustingly tried to hate Android because I own a 32gb iTouch and I thought it was a magical device.
When me and my boyfriend's contract was ready to extend at AT&T, I knew what I was going to get when we upgraded: 32gb iPhone. Yup. That was my plan. Surely if my iTouch was a phenomenal tool then there's no way the iPhone could be any less, right?
We go to the AT&T store because at this point my phone was a Samsung Impression. Two years before this moment the representative told me this was the phone to get because it surpassed most smartphones at the current time.
Sure it was. I started to change my mind after I had to start calibrating my phone to use it every day. After it would freeze if I tried to send a photo using the slider keypad, after screws starting coming out of the back and finally after it decided to give me the 'green-screen-of-death', never to recover again.
We get to the AT&T store and the representative shows me the HTC Inspire. He let's me hold it, play with it, discover all the apps and give me a second to sink in the 10 reasons he gave me as to why I need this over an iPhone, etc etc
It's been almost a month and needless to say, I am absolutely, positively in love with the Android system. I don't know how I managed with my last phone, and what I was thinking when I wanted an iPhone.
So that's my story. Android won me over and I am now a proud owner of an HTC Inspire, by far a solid reason why I was so inclined to register on a forum to tell you, the person I've never met but already have some in common.
I probably won't be very active, but I wanted to share my story. Nice to meet you.
