Apps hello / tryingg to find correct forum

Hello all

I was trying to find the developer forum, but i dont see it anywhere?

I have setup eclipse, with a basic hello world app, and trying to run it in my android. Under developer options, i have USB debug selected. However nothing happens when i hit "run" on eclipse under my app. I have connected the device before as i drag and drop movies to my internal memory.

So what might i be missing?

Ubuntu 13.04
android 4.1.2
Galaxy Tab 3

I used the ADT bundle here http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html for linux

sounds like you need to setup your hardware testing device.
In windows eclipse theis is done under menu
window and
Android virtual device manger

OK, i apparently have fixed it. since creating the app, i restarted eclipse after saving my changes to the app. Then when i start it back up, and red othe process. I get the page that asks to use the linked device, etc. and it wokrs at that point. I havent had a problem since. That is quite odd.
