Hi everyone,

So, first of all a big Thank You to all of you helping us 'Newbies' to survive while playing with customer ROMs. :adore:

I never thought to root my Desire, but permanently fighting against the 'low memory' message I started to thing about ... :hmmmm:
Now as a 'newbie' I am searching for Tipps&Tricks to bring my phone back to speed and performance.

Just managed to 'root' my Desire but I still can not decide which custom-ROM to use (Miui-XJ, OxyZM, etc.).
What I am missing is 'how-to' guide within the ROM threads where I do not need a dictionary to translate every word ...

I should appreciate any hint about a stable, fast and good-looking custom-rom to speed-up my Desire with high performance, speed and a usability. In general I use my desire having phone functionality, all my contacts, chat, navigation and internet tools available in one source.

Welcome to the forums, spezifischer! Thanks for the compliments on the site, I think we got a great place here.
As to what's the best ROM for your Desire, can't really help you out as I've never used one. Feel free to head on over to the Root forum as they have a couple threads on the best one:
