Droid x pre-installed apps are a pain. How can they be removed. I read where you can install app like Blockbuster, then uninstall that. When I tried that, it only offered to update what was already there. Any ideas on how to get rid of these apps?

Welcome to the Android Forums!

To get rid of the bloatware apps on the Droid X you will need to first root the phone. Once rooted you can freeze or delete the carrier-provided apps. Be aware, however, that making a change like this can be seen as a violation of your warranty by Verizon. My suggestion is to freeze the bloatware apps using a third party app from the Android Market rather than delete them. This way you can restore the phone in the event you need to return it to Verizon for service...
