I've had my Eris for a little over a year, now. I have a love/hate relationship with my phone but overall I am a HUGE fan of Android. I'm looking forward to November when I can upgrade to another Droid model.
Lately the only issue I've had is the phone lagging when I try to make a phone call. That's pretty annoying but otherwise, the phone is as good as the day I brought it home.
I have not rooted the phone although I'm curious about it...
