Hello to All,

I'm very new to the forum thing but I love Android. I made a really bad decision with my last phone choice so I'm hoping to get better educated and then get the hardware to really fly with it. Any rookie info or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Welcome to Android Forums. Phones are such a personal choice and the devices so diverse.. it's impossible to advise. My suggestion would be to spend some time in the forums.. reading up on each device that has your interest. You won't find better information than from the actual owners of each phone. When you are ready to make that big plunge you should be able to make an educated decision on which is the best for you. Here is an overview of the site.. http://androidforums.com/
Good luck and I hope you enjoy the forums.

Welcome to Android Forums!

First you decide who your carrier will be, if you are thinking of changing. That will reduce the selection. Then make a list of absolute must-haves and see if there are any phones that fit your parameters. If you have multiple choices still, decide on a manufacturer and finally go try and play with one in a store.
