Brand new to Android. Borrowed my father's tablet to see if it is something I would like to purchase. I know enough to get mysef in trouble, but not enough to fix it. Seems that experienced Android users speak another language!

I think I want to restore factory settings, but have not found out how. Are there any general guidelines I could follow?

I didn't stop to think that hitting the "say Hi" button would take me to the "introductions" forum. Duh. And I added a support question! I'm not really spacey!

No problem with the question, but it would depend on the version of Android the tablet is running. To reset it if it's running Android 2.x, go to menu>settings>privacy and select factory data reset. If it's running android 3.x then go to apps>settings>privacy and ... same thing.
