Hi all, I'm new to the board and phone hacking. I did my first root yesterday, deleting some annoying, battery sucking metroPCS apps.

I'm quite happy to see my phone's battery go from 100% to 50% in 5 hours stock to 100% to 75% in 18 hours, after backing up all of my apps, rooted.

I NEVER thought I'd see that kind of performance from a phone battery.
