Hello , This is new to me, never been a member of a forum before. Just joining to find out a bit about the Android phone that I have. Was thinking about doing the upgrade.. yes I haven't done it yet... Trying to figure out if I will lose all my text messages that I have saved. Also, checking out reviews on Apps. If you have a Huawei Ascend and have any helpful tips please share .

You can find the other Ascend owners in Huawei Ascend - Android Forums. They'll be able to help you out with that upgrade.

If it is a system update through your carrier, you shouldn't lose anything but it is always prudent to back up your phone before doing anything like an upgrade or system patch. In case something goes wrong, you don't want to lose anything.
