Hi I'm Cheryl, I'm new to the forums and new to Android. I've always used the iPhone but am finding the Android a bit funner except the learning curve is a bit more so that's what brought me here.

Thanks everyone, I'm afraid to "root" yet. I'm not sure exactly what that means

Rooting is not a necessity, but rather a person choice. I've never "root" any of my devices - and they all working great.
