I'm new to Android, but not new to the underlying OS it's based upon, Linux. I'm not a Linux expert by any means, but I've used it or dabbled with it since about 1998, back in the days of Caldera Linux and SuSE Linux 6.x (I think).
That said, Android is quite different from my experiences with the various desktops for Linux. I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7" model) and love it. I have an issue or two with Eva, the voice activated personal assistant, that I will post in the forums to look for help. I have found the developer is responsive to questions, but he does not have an Android tablet.
