Hello All!
I'm JonM85, yes, Jon is my real name. I currently own a rooted HTC Droid Incredible 2 and currently running the UKB ROM (Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0). I work as an IT Consultant most of the time, also have a job as a "Technical Support Analyst" (fancy phrase for Help Desk Tech) and love technology. Wanted to join the forums to be able to share what I know, and to be able to learn more too! IT isn't about just computers anymore.

Hello. I am Ellery.

I have a long history of cell phone use (going back to early 1980s—one of the first 25 users in Massachusetts).

I have owned mostly Motorola phones: v8160, v60i, v710, E815, Krzr K1M, Droid X, Droid RAZR.

In between these phones, I have also owned a few made by Qualcomm, Nokia and Samsung. I always return to Motorola because of superior radio and antenna design. What good is a $500 MP3 player if you cannot place or receive a call in an elevator, parking garage, shopping mall, etc.

I am an open source enthusiast. I appreciate the brilliance of Apple’s user interface (it beats Android, because it is fluid, consistent and downright thrilling), but I prefer the “crowd source” advantages of Android. It removes restrictions and has far more potential as mobile devices become ubiquitous. It also rewards innovation
I will look to Fandroid/Android forums to help with troubleshooting occasional issues, such as the problem with downloading an address book between Motorola Droid RAZR and a Motorola T325 Bluetooth speakerphone.
