My name is Dr.Nicolas Rao-you guessed right! My friends call me "doc" like Buggs or Nick.

There is a lot I need to learn about Android devices and though I have not used my Archos 101 Internet tablet a lot,other than a device to read my downloaded or created pdf's I feel a need to be able to use it to full potential.
It is a Froyo version 2.2.1 A gift from my daughter a year back.
First I would like learn how upgrade more if possible,if not to be able to add the right apps to make it more fun to use.
For instance I find its capacity to use the home WiFi Network poor for starters and the screen freezes often.
I am used to doing all the maintenance with home desktops and laptops and would like to have a good control and ability to tweak the tablet too.
I am an agressive reader and dogged learner,so any tips will be appreciated.
