Hi Everybody,

Quick intro here. I'm Jay. I've browsed the forums many times for answers but never took the time to register until now. Figured it's about time. My first Android device was the Mytouch 3g back in 09 and I've been a Android fan ever since. I'm not an Android OS expert by any means so I'll probably have more questions than answers but I do know a thing or two. Anyway, I guess that's it. - Jay

What I have now is a long story but here goes. I was using my Nexus S 4G from Sprint. I decided to switch to a Sprint MVNO because they were offering a better price for the essentially the same plan I was on with Sprint plus they offered contract buyout so I bit thinking (without researching) that I could use my Nexus on the network. Got a lesser quality phone (Samsung Conquer) for free. When I found out I couldn't use my Nexus, I was sad. So I'm thinking of going prepaid with Ting so I can save boatloads of money on service but I want to use my Nexus with Ting. I'm getting some mixed comments on all the boards I've been on so I'm playing the waiting game right now staying current on the issue until everything gets hashed out. Plus to top everything off, my 7 year old son says "Hey Dad! Since you aren't using your phone (Nexus), can I use it to play games until you want it back?" He lost it. It's in the house somewhere probably buried under a pile of junk. I haven't felt ambitious enough to wade through his crap to get yet so I just keep reminding him everyday that if he doesn't find it I'll find a way to make him regret it. He'll never find it and I haven't decided how he will regret it yet. Really it's my fault anyway. I knew this would happen two seconds after I let him take it to his room. LOL
