Hi, just introducing myself so that I can post a link with another post that I was in the middle of writing.

I am stuck trying to root my Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 because Kies does not support it.

Anyone know how to get around this? Thanks

I see you have found your device forum and hope you get the answers you need there.
Sorry, but I personally am not familiar with your device, but I am with Samsung.
I was just curious why you need Kies to root? It very well be that it is needed with your particular device but not sure.
