Howdy folks,
Nikki here. I recently bought my second droid phone the LG Spirit because my husband always had his paws on my Esteem. I really loved that phone. I spent $400 bucks on that thing. If I could have gotten JB on it I would never have given it up. It was my first Droid, but I wanted to "upgrade", as the Spirit is running ICS. Well, it's a decent little phone but I'm not as enthused about it as I was about my Esteem. I've read alot of talk about rooting and different things that can be done to customize and even upgrade so I decided to give it a try. However, it hasn't been as easy as it seemed. I've rooted successfully but that's about all. I would like to learn as much as I can and although I'm not a developer maybe you could learn a thing or two from me. Even if it's what NOT to do! Anyway, right now I'm itching so bad to get a taste of this "custom rom madness" that I'm going to root that Esteem soon and probably even my Acer tablet. So that's my story!
