First of all i'd like to say hello as i have just registered.

i have a bit of a problem with my versus 7, i have put my maze pattern in wrong to many times and it's now wanting me to log in with my google account.

however it is not on wifi, i have tried to connect it to the pc with no luck and i have found the reset button and i pressed it in all different combinations and nothing.

so basiclay my question is how on earth do i get in to my tablet, Any help would be very much appreciated.

Well, you're not going to like the answer.

If you can't find a wifi source SOMEWHERE to enter your Google credentials (and I highly recommend you try hard), then you're going to have to do a full factory reset of the tablet. That means that it will be restored back to out-of-the-box condition: all your app data, settings, everything will be lost. If you have any microSD cards, remove them before doing the reset just to make sure that its contents are safe.

i have a wifi source the trouble is that my wifi name and password got changed while the tablet was not in use and now i physically cant get into it to setup wifi and the reset button will not work i press it and it dose nothing
 
Okay, is there any way to go somewhere else that has a public wifi hotspot and log in there?

If you absolutely must reset the tablet and lose everything, there are generally 3 buttons on Android tablets: power, volume up, and volume down. Some combination of those - pressed and held at the same time - should get you into recovery.

Try volume up plus power at the same time; if that's not it, power down the tablet and try volume down plus power. If that fails, press all 3 at the same time. Hold until you see recovery. To power down the tablet, just long press the power button.

In recovery, use the volume buttons to scroll down to data wipe / factory reset and Home to select. It will warn you, asking if you really want to do it. Wipe away and the tablet will be back to original factory state.

If that doesn't work (or you have other physical buttons, let us know.
