1st post, Hello all...

Im an Android newb (got 1st droid phone this week) and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction please?:)

I am off on holiday next week and roaming data is very expensive. All I want to use the phone for is music player and camera, so do not want it synching, but still want to make/receive the odd voice all.

Is there a way to turn off the data connectivity on the phone whilst still beign able to receive calls?

cheers

Thanks daash, found it: mobile network>Data Roaming: "connect to data servies when roaming" so I assume that un-selecing this will not allow any data connection when not on home network. cheers.

So many menus/options on these phones, but loving it...(though the mrs hates it as I've not spoke much in the last 48 hours. ;))
