Help! Accessibility feature has made phone unuseable

RichDuffy

Lurker
I turned on the accessibility feature that helps vision impaired people. It reads out a description of the screen.
It works fine ... but that's all it does. The phone is unusable. I press the UNLOCK key and the phone says: "2:39 p.m. Ringer 100 percent."

That's it. Holding the key down does nothing. If I pinch out, I can get the star-like Mi-Menu-Whatever Icon. But when I touch, say, the phone icon ... the phone says, "Image 52. Unlableled." That's it. Nothing happens. The phone is totally useless.

I tried removing the battery ... When the phone rebooted, I momentarily had control. I managed to get past the Lock Screen before the accessibility feature kicked in. But then it kicked in, and the phone menu was useless.

Ideas?
