Help! After rooting Galaxy S2 Cant connect to Kies/Mediamonkey

As title I rooted my Galaxy S2 and noticed that mediamonkey cant detect the phone any more. I noted that you now seem to have to pull down the menu and connect the USB manually now so I can transfer files but I cant get Kies or Media Monkey to find the phone.

Is there another setting on the phone I need to change?

Ah found that you have to disable USB debugging mode which was enabled during the rooting process!

Hey do you have to have usb storage on or off cauz i can't get it to work on my mac!
